Blue Jays' Dayan Viciedo opts out of contract, becomes free agent

Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said outfielder Dayan Viciedo has opted out of his contract and has become a free agent, per Sportsnet.ca. Viciedo, who signed a minor-league deal in early March, hit .233 with no home runs, four doubles and two RBI in 15 spring games.
