Ponce (forearm) is scheduled to make his season debut Monday for High-A Brevard County, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Ponce, who the Brewers grabbed with the 55th overall pick last summer, dazzled at Low-A Wisconsin last season, compiling a 2.15 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 46 innings. The 22-year-old will likely see his pitch counts limited in his first few outings with Brevard County after he had been at extended spring training for the last two months while recovering from right forearm fatigue.
