Lynn (elbow) played catch from 60 feet on Monday for the first time as he recovers from Tommy John surgery last November, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Lynn experienced no issues. Even if everything goes perfectly in his recovery, it's unlikely he'll be back in time to provide any real fantasy value this season. It's possible, however, that he could provide a bullpen arm for the Cardinals in the playoffs.
