Darren Ford signs minor-league deal with Giants

The Giants signed outfielder Darren Ford to a minor-league deal on Saturday, according to Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

Ford was recently cut by the Pirates. He hit .230/.307/.301 with two home runs, 19 RBI and 29 stolen bases with Triple-A Indianapolis last season.
