Cabral was cut Saturday and will begin the season in the minors, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
The lefty reliever was in camp as a non-roster invitee after signing a minor league deal with Baltimore in November. Cabral will likely begin the year in Triple-A Norfolk, where he spent the bulk of the 2015 season.
