Rays director of minor-league operations Mitch Lukevics said outfield prospect Josh Sale, who was suspended indefinitely in May for conduct detrimental to the organization, remains on the restricted list, but he will play at some point this season, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The 2010 first-round pick (17th overall) has not played since the 2012 season. He has a career .238 average, .345 on-base percentage, .408 slugging percentage and .754 OPS in 134 games.
