Wada is close to signing a deal with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks to return to Japan, the Japan Times reports.
Wada played for Fukuoka in Japan from 2003 to 2011 before leaving for the Cubs in 2012. It looks like Wada has decided to finish his career in Japan.
