White Sox's Scott Carroll: Optioned to Triple-A on Wednesday

Carroll was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.

Carroll was vying for a role as a long reliever in the White Sox bullpen, but since he had minor league options left, the White Sox will send him down to Triple-A to begin the season. That being said, he could shuttle between the minors and majors if he has success against minor league hitters.
