Jason Mackey@JMackeyPG3H agoThis new Pirates regime was supposed to -- and must -- do a better job completing development at the major league level. That didn't happen with Roansy Contreras, and it concerns me: https://t.co/VS3Z7T94yJ

Alex Stumpf@AlexJStumpf22H agoThat's game. Cubs 5, Pirates 4, 10 innings. That's a tough one. They had two prime opportunities to score and the top of the order up late, but failed to plate a run either time. Cruz homers, Falter gets a quality start, Chapman gets the loss. Pirates fall to 18-23.

Alex Stumpf@AlexJStumpf2D agoAsked David Bednar what a debut like Paul Skenes' Saturday means for the Pirates/Pittsburgh: “It’s huge. It definitely brings a different level of excitement down here to PNC. I think he definitely answered the call.”
