Boozer signed a contract with the Guandong Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, David Pick of Basketball Insiders reports.
Boozer took the 2015-16 season off in order to spend time with his family. He hoped to return to the NBA for the upcoming year, but likely didn't find many suitors, so he'll head to China to continue his basketball career. Boozer's contract with Guandong likely has an opt out clause, giving him the chance to bolt to the NBA later in the season if injuries strike a contending team. However, there's no guarantee he eventually gets that call. Even if he does end up in the NBA at some point, Boozer will likely have a tough time having any sort of fantasy value.
