Nuggets' Giorgi Bezhanishvili: Will play in Summer League

Bezhanishvili is expected to play in the NBA Summer League with the Nuggets, freelance basketball journalist Adam Zagoria reports.

After going undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, Bezhanishvili will attempt to work his way into a two-way contract with the Nuggets. In his final season at Illinois, the center averaged 5.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 14.7 minutes as he lost his starting role to Kofi Cockburn. If he does play well in the Summer League, it's possible that the 22-year-old could earn a depth center role for the Nuggets.
