Vincent recorded 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two blocks and two steals over 27 minutes during Monday's 104-99 win over the Raptors. Vincent logged his first start since Dec. 28 against the Wizards and responded by posting double-figure scoring for a second time across his last three appearances. Vincent also made at least three threes for the 13th time this year. In his third season in the league, Vincent is averaging career highs in just about every major statistical category including points, assists, rebounds and steals.
Vincent (contioning) will be available for Wednesday's contest against the Hawks. Vincent cleared the NBA's health and safety protocols Saturday, but he remained sidelined due to conditioning issues. Before his five-game absence, he had drawn nine consecutive starts and averaged 14.3 points, 4.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 33.4 minutes during those contests. However, he will likely revert back to a reserve role now that Miami is getting closer to full strength.
Vincent (COVID-19 protocols) has exited protocols but remains out Saturday against the Suns. Vincent's next chance to play arrives Wednesday against the Hawks. That's assuming his conditioning is up to speed.
Vincent was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Wednesday, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports. Over his last nine games, Vincent is averaging 14.3 points, 4.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 33.4 minutes per game. The Heat are still without Kyle Lowry due to COVID-19 protocols as well, so Vincent's absence will likely open the door for Tyler Herro to step into the starting lineup, while Kyle Guy and Marcus Garrett could see increased roles off the bench.
Vincent ended with 13 points (5-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt), five rebounds and eight assists in 34 minutes during Sunday's 93-83 win over the Magic. Vincent should continue to have an impact while Kyle Lowry (COVID-19 Protocols) is sidelined, but Jimmy Butler's return to action and Lowry's return will drop Vincent back down the depth chart.
