Lance Kendricks could find himself as the No. 1 tight end for the Rams this season if he beats out rookie Tyler Higbee, which should lead to an increase in production this year. Kendricks has been more of a blocking tight end during his career and never had more than 42 catches, 519 yards or five touchdowns in any season, including 2015 when he played behind Jared Cook. The Rams are more of a running team anyway, and that won't change with rookie quarterback Jared Goff. And Kendricks will have to prove himself first before Fantasy owners can trust him. Keep an eye on his production early in the season, and if he starts off playing well then add him off waivers.
