Bunting (neck) was waived/injured by the Cowboys on Monday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Bunting missed Dallas' preseason opener Saturday while dealing with neck soreness. The 26-year-old tight end, who saw action in just one game with the Cowboys last year, will now hit waivers before presumably shifting back to the team's IR, should he go unclaimed.
