Lions' Isaiah Williams: Gets chance in Detroit

The Lions signed Williams as an undrafted free agent Friday, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.

Williams is undersized at 5-foot-9, 179 pounds, but as Twentyman notes, he was productive at Illinois with over 200 catches for 2,295 and 14 touchdowns over the last three seasons. He now gets an opportunity to compete for a depth role with Detroit.
