Hyde will sign a one-year contract with the Seahawks.

Hyde wound up with full-time duties in Houston last year and turned in one of the better seasons of his career, rushing 245 times for 1,070 yards (4.4 YPC) and six touchdowns. He won't have the same role with the Seahawks, which also have Chris Carson (hip), Rashaad Penny (ACL), Travis Homer and rookie DeeJay Dallas in their running back room. Penny could start the season on the PUP list, which would potentially enable Hyde to carve out a complementary role to Carson.
