Brown was recalled from AHL Providence on Sunday.
Brown hasn't dressed in an NHL game since Jan. 27. He tallied 11 goals and 32 points in 42 games with AHL Providence. The 31-year-old will provide some extra depth in Boston as the team begins its series against the Panthers on Monday.
