Wideman (upper body) was put on the injured reserve list Thursday, per Capfriendly.
Wideman last played Feb. 16, so this move might be retroactive to that date. However, the Canadiens announced Thursday that they consider Wideman to be week-to-week, so he isn't expected to return soon. The 33-year-old has four assists in 32 games this season.
