Geertsen cleared the NHL's COVID-19 protocols Monday.
Geertsen has missed the last two games while in the protocols. The 26-year-old has averaged 7:06 of ice time and been held without a point over 12 appearances this season. He will likely return to a bottom-six role during Dougie Hamilton's (jaw) absence.
