Flyers' Ryan Fitzgerald: Dealing with lower-body issue

Fitzgerald (lower body) will not skate Saturday and is listed as day-to-day, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.

Fitzgerald has spent the last five years in the AHL and has yet to make his NHL debut. His status for Tuesday's preseason opener against the Islanders is currently unknown.
