Perlini signed a professional tryout agreement with Carolina on Monday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Perlini last appeared in the NHL during the 2021-22 campaign when he recorded five points in 23 games with the Oilers. The 27-year-old has 81 points in 262 career NHL contests. He'll compete for a bottom-line role in training camp.
