Islanders' Tyce Thompson: Traded in AHL swap

The Islanders obtained Thompson from New Jersey on Sunday in exchange for Arnaud Durandeau.

Thompson has five assists in 15 games for AHL Utica this season. He will probably report to Bridgeport, which is New York's top minor-league affiliate, following the trade. Thompson picked up one assist, eight shots on goal, four blocked shots and seven hits in 11 NHL appearances with the Devils over the past three seasons.
