Toninato was called up by Winnipeg on Wednesday.
Toninato has two goals and six points in nine contests with AHL Manitoba this year. The Jets placed Kyle Connor (knee) on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Connor is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks, so Toninato might be with the Jets for a while.
