Czarnik was claimed by the Kraken from the Islanders off waivers Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Czarnik could make his debut for Seattle as soon as Wednesday's contest against Arizona. The 29-year-old averaged 10:57 of ice time and generated five points over 11 games with the Islanders. He was placed on injured reserve Jan. 27 and landed on waivers Monday.
