Lavoie was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Saturday, per CapFriendly.
Lavoie played in six straight games for the Oilers, but Connor Brown's return from injury Saturday saw Lavoie end up as a scratch. The 23-year-old Lavoie is still looking for his first NHL point, but he'll have to wait until his next call-up to continue the quest.
