Carlsson scored his first NHL goal and added an assist in Thursday's 7-4 win over Buffalo.

Carlsson was the unlikely source of the spark the Panthers needed to come back from an early 3-0 deficit. He got them on the scoresheet in the second with his first goal in 26 career NHL appearances, and the 24-year-old blueliner notched another milestone just 2:35 later, logging his first multi-point game thanks to an assist on Sam Reinhart's goal. Carlsson came into this one with just three points in 25 games spread across three seasons, so expectations should remain tempered moving forward, but he had a night he'll never forget.
