Colorado traded Blidh to the Rangers on Friday in exchange for Gustav Rydahl.
Blidh has six goals, 12 points and 48 PIM in 36 AHL contests this campaign. He's also picked up nine shots on goal and 18 hits in 14 appearances with the Avalanche this season.
