McKegg scored a goal in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Stars.
McKegg missed the last four games due to personal reasons. He played in a fourth-line role but managed to get on the scoresheet at 9:45 of the first period as he tipped in a K'Andre Miller shot to spark the Rangers' comeback. This was McKegg's first point since Jan. 21, and he has just five points with 43 hits and a minus-8 rating in 35 outings.
