Czarnik was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Saturday.
Czarnik was a scratch for Saturday's game versus the Devils, but he may be needed after the holiday break because Christian Fischer (upper body) was injured in the contest. Czarnik has one assist over 16 appearances in the NHL this season.
