Schuldt was waived by Buffalo on Wednesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.
The 26-year-old Schuldt only has one game of NHL experience to his name and he hasn't drawn into a top-level contest since 2018-19, so he was always expected to be waived prior to the start of the regular season. The 26-year-old American will likely spend most, if not all, of the upcoming campaign in the minors.
