Sheahan (undisclosed) is expected to begin the season on injured reserve, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
Sheahan was dealing with an undisclosed muscular injury during the later stages of training camp. It doesn't appear as though he will be ready to play in Buffalo's opener on Thursday against Ottawa.
