The Sharks reassigned O'Regan to AHL San Jose on Friday.
O'Regan drew into two contests during his first stint with the big club, registering two shots on goal while averaging 10:23 of ice time over that span. The German pivot will likely spend the rest of the regular season in the minors, but could be recalled for the Sharks' upcoming playoff run.
