Hanley was a healthy scratch Monday versus the Blue Jackets.
Hanley played in the last four games with John Klingberg sidelined by a lower-body injury. With the Stars' defense corps now full healthy, Hanley is set to serve as a spare blueliner until another injury arises. He could also occasionally enter the lineup to give Andrej Sekera a night off. The 30-year-old Hanley has logged two shots on net, four hits, five blocked shots and a minus-1 rating in his four appearances so far.
