Lucchini will remain with the Wild instead of heading to AHL Iowa after passing through waivers Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Lucchini was evidently waived Tuesday in order to give Minnesota some roster flexibility ahead of Friday's trade deadline. Lucchini has collected just two points through 21 NHL games in a bottom-six role this year.
