Czuczman was promoted from AHL Iowa to the taxi squad Thursday.
The Wild are shorthanded at defense at the moment, so Czuczman could get into the lineup Friday or Saturday against Chicago. The 31-year-old defender has yet to make an NHL appearance this season.
