The 2021-22 PGA Tour schedule resumes on Thursday when the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions tees off in Hawaii. Tee times start at 2:40 p.m. ET, so there's still time to make PGA DFS picks on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings for the first PGA event of the calendar year. The field consists of winners from last year, so there's no shortage of high-end options to build PGA DFS lineups around. Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas are the three most expensive players on both sites.

All three have a great chance to post some low scores at the Kapalua Plantation Course in Hawaii this weekend. But if you're rostering those big names, you'll need to balance your lineup with some daily Fantasy golf sleepers to get in under the salary cap. How should you attack your PGA DFS strategy? Before locking in your PGA DFS lineups for the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions, you'll want to see the latest daily Fantasy golf picks, advice and player pool from SportsLine's Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS pro with nearly $2 million in career winnings, and he's been red-hot on his PGA Tour picks this season. McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every tournament 10,000 times, taking factors like statistical trends, past results and current form into account. This allows him to find the best PGA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They're a must-see for any PGA DFS player.

In addition, McClure's model is up almost $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament. This same model has also nailed a whopping seven majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.

Now, McClure has set his sights on the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions and revealed his optimal PGA DFS advice, strategy and player pool. Head to SportsLine now to see his top daily Fantasy golf picks for the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions

Top 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions PGA DFS picks

One of McClure's top PGA DFS picks for the Sentry Tournament of Champions 2022: Daniel Berger at $8,400 on DraftKings and $10,500 on FanDuel. Berger enters this week's event full of confidence. That's because the 28-year-old American is coming off his best season on the PGA Tour, recording one win and eight top-10 finishes, which included a T-7 showing at the U.S. Open and a T-8 finish at the Open Championship.

Berger was able to secure those positive results thanks in large part to his sensational iron play. In fact, Berger finished last season ranked inside the top-10 in greens in regulation percentage (70.50), strokes gained: approach the green (.834) and scoring average (69.862). In addition, Berger secured a top-10 finish in his last start at this event, which makes him an extremely valuable PGA DFS asset this week.

McClure's optimal PGA DFS strategy also includes rostering Talor Gooch at $9,400 on FanDuel and $7,600 on DraftKings. He's the 20th-most expensive golfer on both sites in a 38-golfer field, so there's a lot of value potential with this pick. The 30-year old out of Oklahoma State rolled through the fall portion of the schedule.

He piled up over $2 million in winnings in just five tournaments. He finished 11th or better in four of those five, including a win at the RSM Classic in November. He ranks fifth on tour in scoring average so far this season and he's also top-10 on the PGA Tour in strokes gained in three different categories. Be sure to include him in your PGA DFS lineups this week.
