There was some movement on some golfer's odds in the days leading up to the first day of play at the US Open. The favorite, Tiger Woods' odds didn't change much but a few others jumped up right at the very end.

Here's a look at a few of the favorites (their Monday odds in parentheses):

Tiger Woods: 5-1 (9-2)
Justin Rose: 16-1 (25-1)
Matt Kuchar: 18-1 (20-1)

Phil Mickelson: 20-1 (20-1)
Graeme McDowell: 20-1 (22-1)
Adam Scott: 20-1 (20-1)

Charl Schwartzel: 22-1 (28-1)
Rory McIlroy: 22-1 (25-1)

Dustin Johnson: 28-1 (40-1)
Lee Westwood: 28-1 (28-1)
Brandt Snedeker: 33-1 (28-1)

It looks like there was a lot of movement on Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose and nothing on Rory McIlroy and Charl Schwartzel.

That Brandt Snedeker at 33-1 seems pretty crazy. I have Snedeker winning so I'd take him at 10-1 but this is a guy who has three top 11 finishes in his last four US Opens and played in the final group at the Masters this year!

Tiger is obviously always overvalued in these things because the public always goes in heavy on the man with 14 majors. You'd have to stick him at 15-1 or 18-1 for me to want to do anything about it.

It will be interesting to see how these figures changes throughout the week -- we'll keep an eye on it and keep you updated.
