LOOK: Chad Bettis shares some good news about his cancer treatment

The Rockies right-hander has been undergoing treatment for a recurrence of testicular cancer

Rockies right-hander Chad Bettis underwent surgery for testicular cancer in November of last year, after which the 28-year-old began preparing himself for the 2017 season. Unfortunately in March Bettis' doctors discovered that the cancer had spread. At that time, Bettis announced he was going be aggressive and undertake a chemotherapy regimen.

On Tuesday, he announced the following good news ... 

Just got done with my last day of chemo!! My family and I want to say thank you for all the support and prayers! We're eternally grateful for y'all. We are excited to move forward and start the process of getting back. Again, thank you! We love you! 👊🏻 #letsgettowork
