At the beginning of the 2016 season, Cubs center fielder Dexter Fowler gave two bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label scotch to his manager, Joe Maddon. One of them was unengraved and the other had "Embrace the Target" -- Maddon's rallying cry this spring and summer -- engraved on it.

Instead of simply getting Maddon's other bottle engraved, Fowler now is going all out. Per Johnnie Walker, here's what he did:

Now that the team has come full circle and achieved their goal of winning the World Series -- in an incredible Game 7 for the ages -- Dexter made sure to get Joe's bottle engraved, and then some. To commemorate the win and the Cubs' 108-year championship drought, Dexter had 108 bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Scotch whisky engraved for the team, coaches and front office staff that will be gifted today timed to the parade celebrations.

"Thanks to Joe, we 'embraced the target' as a team from Day 1 and never lost sight of the goal," Fowler said in a statement. "I decided to give everyone a special gift to thank them for their unwavering support and commitment to our success: engraved bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. I figured 108 bottles was the right number and I'm honored to give them to my teammates, brothers, coaches, front office and everyone involved to mark this amazing achievement."

That's pretty cool. Good stuff, Dexter.
