Given that the College World Series is taking place right and Pirates third baseman Pedro Alvarez is on a serious home run tear right now, this seems fitting.

Here is Alvarez playing for Vanderbilt in 2008 and properly responding to some clown in the stands who was running with an "overrated" chant:

If we can translate the sound of the ball hitting the bat into English, I believe it just said, "dude, sit down and shut up." And that's only if said bat was being nice.

Vanderbilt athletics reported that the ball traveled 430 feet. Not that it's a huge deal these days for Alvarez. According to ESPN.com's Home Run Tracker, four of Alvarez's 19 homers this season have gone further -- and that's with a wood bat against big-league pitching.
