Cleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond made one Florida waitress have a shift that she will never forget. Kassandra Diaz, who works as a server at Che Restaurant in Delray Beach, Florida, received a $1,000 tip on a $164 check from Drummond recently.

"When I was given the checkbook, I went to put in the tip & information to close the table and I couldn't believe it," Diaz wrote on Instagram. "From a $160 check, the tip read $1,000. I was shaking and had tears of happiness after what he left me."

Drummond replied, saying "Thank you for being amazing!"

Daniela Sujpy, the general manager of the restaurant, confirmed to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that Diaz could keep the entire tip.

"I had no idea how to react, I didn't want to draw attention but at the same time I couldn't describe the amount of appreciation I had/have," Diaz added. "It's so amazing to see people displaying acts of kindness in these uncertain times. This is a story I will never forget, thank you again so much @andredrummondd!!"

Diaz also added that he didn't even know who Drummond was when she waited on him.

Two weeks ago, Palm Beach County restaurants were allowed to reopen at 25 percent capacity. Diaz added that Che Restaurant had been "pretty slow" since.

Drummond's good deed comes after former Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chad Johnson left a $1,000 tip on a $37 check in a Cooper City restaurant last week.

Despite COVID-19 making life very different these days, Drummond's act showed that kindness still hasn't been forgotten.
