Most of the drama playing out on the court during Game 5 of Thunder-Rockets involved the actual players, as Russell Westbrook lead OKC's desperate attempt to extend the series, which, ultimately ended up falling a few points short, bringing one of the most astounding individual seasons we've ever seen to a close

There was, however, one additional participant in the confrontations, as Rockets owner Leslie Alexander made his way onto the floor during play to complain to a referee.

This, understandably, was not taken lightly by the league, as they dropped the hammer quickly, issuing Alexander a $100,000 fine for his intrusion onto the court.

While the league didn't find this humorous, James Harden did. Via ESPN:

Rockets star James Harden said he didn't see the occurrence but was amused when told about it after the game.

"He's just the coolest guy on Earth,'' Harden said. "I would have probably ran over there and tried to help him.''

Though rare, we have seen fines this high levied before, such as when Mark Cuban was hit with $100K fine for violating anti-tampering rules back in 2014.
