For a second, Dwight Howard looked like the guy he replaced in Los Angeles.

Late in the third quarter against the Nuggets, Howard clobbered Kenneth Faried in the face, earning a Flagrant 2 foul which is an automatic ejection after review by the officials.

Howard didn't make a play on the ball, instead hitting Faried in the face, so it was a pretty easy call.

Howard left the game with 12 points and seven rebounds.

The play will likely be reviewed by the league office and Howard could be facing more punishment, possibly a suspension or fine.

Howard now has three flagrant fouls on the season, with five earning an automatic one game suspension.
