Perhaps Paul George will warm up to playing power forward. In the Indiana Pacers' second preseason game, George scored 20 points against the Detroit Pistons … in the first quarter. Who would have thought he'd have an easier time against Ersan Ilyasova and Anthony Tolliver than he did against Anthony Davis?
In the opening frame, George shot 7-for-8 from the field, including 5-for-6 from deep. He made both of his free throws, too.
With the third quarter just about over, George has 32 points on 10-for-17 shooting, plus two rebounds and a steal in 24 minutes. He's probably done for the night.
Nice to see him looking like his usual, healthy self.
