James produced 30 points (11-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in 44 minutes during Monday's 108-106 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. James did everything in his power to extend the opening-round matchup, including playing all but four minutes of Game 5, but it wasn't enough to get the job done. The 39-year-old forward poured in 30 points in each of the last two games and consistently packed the stat sheet throughout the series, averaging 27.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.0 blocks over five appearances.... Lakers' LeBron James: Available for Game 5
James (ankle) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 5 against Denver, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. James and Anthony Davis (wrist) were each listed as probable to suit up, and they've both been given the green light for Monday's clash. James is coming off a 30-point performance in Game 4 and will need to produce at a high level again in Game 5 to give his team a chance to extend the series.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Probable for Game 5
James (ankle) is probable for Monday's Game 5 against the Nuggets, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports. James continues to deal with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy ahead of Game 5, but he'll likely be able to suit up once again. Over the first four matchups in the series, he's averaged 27.3 points, 8.3 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 40.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Shines with 30-point game Saturday
James ended with 30 points (14-23 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals over 39 minutes during Saturday's 119-108 victory over the Nuggets in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. The Lakers are still alive in the series against the Nuggets, and James became just the fourth player in NBA history to record a 30-point playoff game at the age of 39 or older, joining Reggie Miller, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on that exclusive list. James has surpassed the 25-point mark in each of the four games in this series, and the Lakers will need him to be at his best once again if they want to avoid elimination in Game 5 on Monday.... Lakers' LeBron James: Cleared to play
James (ankle) is good to go for Saturday's Game 4 versus the Nuggets. No surprise here, as James was carrying his usual probable tag prior to this update. There's no word of any restrictions ahead of tipoff.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Listed as probable for Game 4
James (ankle) is probable for Saturday's Game 4 versus Denver, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports. James carrying probable tags due to left ankle soreness is par for the course. Fantasy managers should expect him to suit up with Los Angeles' season on the line, as the Lakers are winless through three games in the series.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Scores 26 in Game 3 defeat
James produced 26 points (12-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 42 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. James had another strong showing, but as has been the trend throughout the series, the Lakers couldn't maintain their lead and ended up losing, falling into an 0-3 deficit. James has done everything in his power to counter Denver, reaching the 25-point mark in all three of his appearances in the series while averaging 26.3 points, 9.7 assists and 6.7 rebounds across 40.3 minutes per contest.... Lakers' LeBron James: Available to play
James (ankle) is available to play in Thursday's Game 3 versus the Nuggets, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. As is usually the case, James was carrying a probable tag prior to this update due to lingering left ankle soreness. James is not expected to have any restrictions as the Lakers attempt to pick up their first win of the series.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Another probable tag
James (ankle) is listed as probable for Thursday's Game 2 against Denver, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports. James has been listed as probable for each of the first two games of the series but has averaged 39.5 minutes per contest. Considering he's looked to be 100 percent in both games and has been an injury report mainstay this season, fantasy managers should expect James to be available Thursday.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Sniffs triple-double in loss
James ended with 26 points (9-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and two steals over 38 minutes during Monday's 101-99 loss to the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. James finished just two rebounds shy of a triple-double Monday, and even though the 39-year-old forward is competing at a high level, it seems the Lakers keep falling short against Denver. James has recorded at least 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the first two games of the series, and he should continue to have a high usage rate during Game 3 on Thursday.... See More ... Lakers' LeBron James: Gets green light
James (ankle) will play in Monday's Game 2 against the Nuggets, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. James was initially added to the team's injury report as probable, so this update was expected. He'll need to be a key piece of the puzzle again in Game 2 for the Lakers to have a chance to steal a win on the road.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Probable for Game 2
James (ankle) is probable for Monday's Game 2 against the Nuggets, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. James continues to deal with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, but he'll likely be able to play through the issue once again Monday as the Lakers attempt to even their first-round series. In Saturday's Game 1 loss, James tallied 27 points, eight assists, six rebounds, a steal and a block in 41 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Cools off as Game 1 progresses
James produced 27 points (10-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes during Saturday's 114-103 loss to the Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. James was absolutely dominant in the first half, and his play was instrumental in giving the Lakers a three-point lead at the halftime break. However, he cooled off a bit in the second half, though that was mostly because the Nuggets tightened things up defensively against him. James usually finds a way to adjust, and he should continue to operate as the Lakers' main offensive option in Game 2 on Monday.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Available to face Denver
James (ankle) has been upgraded to available for Game 1 against the Nuggets on Saturday, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. James has been listed in the injury report pretty much the entire season but has been available for every important game, so there was no doubt that he would play here. Expect him to handle his regular workload, as well as his regular usage rate, in the playoff opener.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Probable for Game 1
James (ankle) is listed as probable for Saturday's Game 1 against the Nuggets, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports. James has once again been added to the team's injury report due to left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, but he should be able to play through the issue. He's coming off a strong showing in Tuesday's Play-In Game against the Pelicans, falling one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Flirts with triple-double Tuesday
James registered 23 points (6-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 10-10 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and three steals over 41 minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans. James fell just one rebound and one assist short of his second straight triple-double. It continues what has been a fantastic season for James, a campaign that will now last at least another four games. The Nuggets await the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs, a matchup that should be a must-watch given the history between the two teams.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' LeBron James: Set to play Tuesday
James (ankle) is available for Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game against the Pelicans, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. James has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday despite dealing with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. The superstar forward averaged 31.0 points, 12.5 assists, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in 37.5 minutes across his two appearances against New Orleans this season.... See More ... Lakers' LeBron James: Probable for Tuesday

James was omnipresent Sunday and saved one of his best performances of the season for a game where the Lakers needed him the most. The 17 assists were a season-high mark for James, and this was also his fifth triple-double of the campaign, as he seems to be ready for the Play-In matchup against New Orleans on Tuesday....
