By now, you're probably one of the 600,000-plus people who have watched "Kickalicious," a trick-shot compilation video of a Norwegian kicker named Havard Rugland. (If you're not, stop reading and click play above.)

You know who's definitely watched it? Someone in the New York Jets organization, because Rugland had a tryout with them this week.

"It went well," Rugland told Norway's NRK. "They tested me on field goals and kickoffs. Obviously you feel a little more pressure here, but I stayed pretty calm."

Michael Husted, Rugland's kicking coach, said that he was "contacted" by an NFL GM who wanted to work him out in San Diego.

"A GM [general manager] from an NFL team contacted me about Havard," Husted said. "He wanted Havard to come to train with me in San Diego before they were going to fly him in for a workout."

Yes, the whole thing is quite odd. But it's not like anything we're talking about here is weirder than anything that went on with the Jets before.

And, seriously, did you watch that video? I would've had this guy in an NFL uniform months ago. Dude has a monster leg and can do weird, amazing things with the football off his foot.

He could probably even play quarterback in New York.
