Throughout this season, the NFL used gold accents to commemorate Super Bowl 50 (because 50 years is traditionally the golden anniversary). The 2015 NFL draft logo was trimmed in gold, a golden NFL shield logo was painted on every field, the "50" surrounding the 50-yard line in every stadium was painted gold, teams had gold trim on their sideline hats and gear starting in Week 7, the Pro Bowl jerseys had gold trim and numbers, and more.

Of course, if you're going to go all out with the gold theme, you've got to really go all out. And that apparently means making gold-flaked hot dogs available at Levi's Stadium during the game.

These things are only available in the stadium on game day. They feature a poppy-seed bun, sauteed bell peppers, some fancily drizzled ketchup, and again, GOLD FLAKES. And you get all that for the low, low (Note: not all that low) price of $12. Enjoy.
