Is Joe Flacco elite?
We've been debating that question endlessly here at CBS Sports for the better part of Flacco's existence.
(I don't actually think Joe Flacco is elite btw. But I do agree he made himself some money. Great game from him.)

Flacco money: Elite. Flacco: Not. Yet.

The Internet has also been debating the issue years and because its the Internet, it came to no conclusion.
For instance, we know that Flacco's elite at carrying babies.
But he's not elite when he plays the Bengals.
Steve Nash still thinks he's elite though.
On the other hand, Bleacher Report doesn't think Flacco's elite, so there's that.
The "Flacco's Elite" crowd has been making waves recently though.
Back in July, Torrey Smith tweeted that Flacco's elite by comparing him to a bear in the woods.

One month later, Eagles coach Chip Kelly weighed in on the debate. Kelly didn't make a bear comparison, but he did say that Flacco's elite.
Now, with a presidential election coming up, it's important that the candidates give their opinion on the matter, something that Donald Trump did on Monday.

"I think Joe Flacco is, actually, a very elite quarterback," Trump said. "He won a Super Bowl, he did it really, to a certain extent, with that great arm of his. I would say absolutely. He is an elite quarterback."
Trump is obviously going hard after the Baltimore vote and it's probably because that vote is there for the taking after Mike Huckabee refused to answer the same question.
@JoeBiden Mr Biden, Governor Huckabee wouldnt answer- but will you? Is Joe Flacco Elite? https://t.co/kWKhVuSxOE

Anyway, so is it finally case about Flacco's eliteness finally closed?
Probably not.
As for Trump, he was also asked about Tony Romo.
The Donald seems to think that the Cowboys defense will be able to carry the load while Romo's out.

If you want football advice from Trump this year -- and who doesn't -- it appears that all you'll have to do is log on to Twitter on Mondays and use the hashtag #AskTrump.
