There's nothing cuter than seeing a young kid enter a high-level football game and score a touchdown.

But the video below of Rhinelander (Wisc.) High School's freshman team letting 8-year-old Gabe White, the team's honorary captain, score will flat-out melt your heart.

Per the Sporting News, White has Down Syndrome. His older brother Owen plays on the squad and coach Mark Apfel believed letting White score would be a "special moment."

"I wanted to make a special moment for him. [He's a] special kid. All you have to do is hang out with him for 30 seconds and you see that," Apfel said.

The players for Moisee -- already victorious over Rhineland -- deserve tons of credit for fake diving at White as he streaked for a touchdown before being lifted on the shoulders of Rhineland's squad.
