The Eagles' season doesn't start until Sept. 11. Yet, on Aug. 11, Eagles fans decided enough is enough. During the team's first preseason game, they began chanting for No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz.
This did not take long:

So, where was Wentz? Probably awaiting his turn on the sideline and, hopefully, not locked in a bathroom somewhere.
Or in hiding, because Chase Daniel has been sacked four times and it's not even halftime.

The Eagles did eventually give the fans what they want, and Wentz hit Zach Ertz for his first completion:

Unfortunately for Eagles fans, they might need to wait a while to see Wentz overtake Sam Bradford and Daniel on the depth chart. The Eagles are not planning on trotting out Wentz as their quarterback in Week 1. According to a recent report, they might even keep Wentz inactive at the beginning of the season.
In the meantime, keep on chanting, Philly. It's better than booing Santa.
